I'm happy with my braids. My stylist was professional, and she gave me some good advice on what to do with my hair before we began the braiding process. However, I'm extremely disappointed with my nails. I think the lady who was my nail tech was new and I don't think she was vetted properly. I asked for a basic gel overlay on my hands and toes, and her application was so messy it looked like a 5 year old had done my nails. She is so clumsy. I told her I was not happy and asked her to redo the entire set. She started over and said the colour I requested (burgundy) was difficult to work with. I agreed to switch to a nude colour but it really didn't change anything in terms of the quality of the work. The application is lumpy and uneven, the sides were messy. I was literally sitting in the chair cleaning the gel polish around the edges of my nails whilst getting my hair done. All in all, what could have been a great experience was marred by the sloppiness of the nail tech. I don't think she should be allowed to work on clients until she's had proper training and practice.
