Laleh Nail and Beauty Salon

Laleh (pronounced LAA-LAIR ) nicely tucked away at the Checkers Center in Rylands is a beauty salon that caters to everyone's specific needs. My initial interaction and introduction to the business was with Thaakirah, also a beauty consultant, but doubles up as a receptionist as well. All I had to do was to literally show her the soles of my feet, and the rest was an experience that I would remember for the rest of my life. You know, men rarely venture into this sort of business, which is traditionally frequented by woman clientele exclusively. I must admit that I did feel a little intimidated by the mere fact that I'm walking into a beauty salon to look for some help with my feet, which has been troubling me for quite a while now. Too long, actually. Those were baseless insecurities of mine. I was immediately warmly welcomed by Thaakirah, who asked very professionally how she could be of assistance. Alas, I was at ease straight away. Robin, the beauty consultant who comes with 17 years of experience in the industry, tended to me and my needs. She is an absolute gem who has a bubbly personality who talked me thru the entire process step by step. This put me at ease even further and allowed me to trust her and the process of first emulsifying and then removing that dried up flaky skin on the soles of my feet and on my heels. I recommend you ask for her by name....although all the other ladies are also very experienced in what they do. After almost 2 hours in the care of a true professional, I was absolutely stunned at the outcome of her work and my troubled and sore feet. They were magically transformed in what resembled the feet of a human being again. I was astonished! Go pop in... especially men, even if that's all that you do. Dont be shy or governed by your perceptions and expectations of society. I promise you that you will be pleasantly surprised. I dare you...lol. Thanks again, Thaakirah and Robin and LALEH, of course

Myself and Husband went for a couple's massage this morning and it was amazing. The ambiance was so relaxing, the 2 ladies that did our massages was amazing and very intuitive. They engaged well and managed our journey so well. We left there relaxed, rejuvenated and sinus free. Loved the experienced we thinking of doing this every month going forward.
